The “Plastic, Plastic Everywhere” zine helps students explore the following questions:
Why was plastic invented and what were the early benefits?
How did the increased popularity of single-use problems make the problem of plastic waste unmanageable?
What are earth’s four spheres and how do they interact?
How does the production, use and disposal of plastic harm each of earth’s spheres?
How can we show kinship through individual and collective action to fight against plastic pollution?
Connections to Other Resources
This zine is used in the Plastic, Plastic Everywhere full project.
